Frequently Asked Questions

If this is your first visit, a Hair & Scalp Assessment is a great place to start. If you are seeking deeper wellness insights through laboratory hair mineral analysis, you may choose the Hair iDetect™ Root Cause Assessment. 


Yes. Please wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo before your appointment and arrive with clean, completely dry hair. Avoid oils, gels, sprays, heavy conditioners, or other styling products so we can clearly examine your hair and scalp. 


 No. Digital scalp imaging is painless and non-invasive. 


We’ll discuss your hair and scalp concerns, review your relevant history, examine your hair and scalp, and provide personalized education and recommendations based on your assessment. 


Bring a list of medications and supplements you are currently taking and any recent laboratory results related to your hair or scalp, if available. 


The Follicle Clinic does not currently bill or accept insurance. Clients are responsible for payment and may contact their insurance provider directly regarding possible coverage or reimbursement for eligible cranial prosthesis expenses. 


Yes. Virtual appointments are available for education, general hair and scalp wellness guidance, and follow-up support when appropriate. Please note that digital scalp imaging and hands-on assessment require an in-person visit. 



  

 We accept debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Zelle.  


   Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
